Creating a Unique Workplace Solution for a Fin-Tech Company

The Blooming Energy office design by Chen-Yu Yeh is a creative solution tailored to the functional needs of a fin-tech company. The designer's unique concept emphasizes inter-department interaction and communication, providing a more flexible and dynamic workspace.

The interior of the office features overlapping circulation, creating a sense of openness and connectivity. An open elevated stage area is incorporated, allowing for educational training, lectures, and meetings with dozens of participants. This versatile space encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The design incorporates various materials, including wooden floors, wallpaper, iron, melamine board, artificial stone, plastic floor tiles, stone-like aluminum plates, lacquered glass, and latex paint. These elements come together to create a visually appealing and functional office environment.

The Blooming Energy office spans approximately 562 square meters and includes a hall, a reception counter, a semi-open conference room, a private conference room, an open-plan office area, and a stage area. The layout is carefully designed to accommodate the specific needs of the client and their business organization.

The main challenge faced by the design team was completing the project within the client's requested timeframe. Despite the time constraints, the team successfully communicated with the client, making revisions and adjustments to ensure the space layout and material performance met expectations. The end result exceeded the client's initial vision.

Located in Taipei City, Taiwan, the Blooming Energy office design was completed in August 2019. The design was inspired by the jungle, with leaves totem wallpaper covering the exposed ceiling beams, creating a primitive and wild atmosphere. The combination of low saturation and high contrast color combinations further enhances the theme of passion and vitality in the digital technology industry.

The Blooming Energy office design by Chen-Yu Yeh received the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This prestigious award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The design is respected for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better working environment.
